Meh-Teh in India

There are a lot of monsters that the world has seen. There are also a lot of stories that have been told and heard based on seen as well as unseen beasts. Only those that were able to be proven real with proper proof of their existence were considered to be real. Rest all of the monsters are either myths or in the process to be proving that they actually exist.

One such popular monster is the Yeti. A Yeti is a mythical creature that was first talked about in 1921. This creature is said to be twice the size of an averaged size human. Not just that, it is also possible that the Yeti can reach up to the height of 20 feet as well.

A Yeti was believed to exist in the cold mountain regions of Tibet and Nepal, however since the time a Yeti was talked about, its existence and the places it exists, spread. It is now believed that a Yeti lives and can be found anywhere in the colder regions of the mountains, anywhere in the world.

A Yeti is not just called a Yeti but is also famous by the name of Big Foot. Since there have been no concrete proofs for the Yeti existing in real life, there only have been huge footprints seen printed in the snow of the snowy regions. Those footprints were proven to be too big to be of a human and hence were assumed to be of a Yeti. From there onwards, the mysterious monster became famous by the name of Big Foot more than the name of Yeti.

However, just like every other monster, it doesn’t just have these two names only. A Yeti is also called as Meh-Teh in the Tibetan language. It is also called the Abominable Snowman in some places.

Since the Yeti isn’t seen by anyone, its appearance is believed to be of a two-legged furry creature with a height of about 10-20 feet. To be a bit more precise, the Yeti is believed to be an ape-like creature with shaggy fur, basically in white colour. Just as the fur of every other animal gives them an advantage over some things such as the colder climate, the fur of the Yeti is believed to be of the same use since it stays in the extreme colder regions.

When we come to the proofs that tell us that a creature like Yeti exists, there have been people claiming that they have found a severed foot or perhaps severed fingers too. However, on investigating further, there was no proof that it was a Yeti’s.

In most cases where a body part has been found in the regions where Yetis are claimed to be living, those body parts have proven to be of a human itself.

There are many stories involving what a Yeti is and how does it behave. Some stories tell us that a Yeti is a mythical creature that is dangerous for humans and towards them. It is said that the Yeti protects the animals of the wild from humans and also gives lives to those animals who die.

This being said about the Yeti being dangerous to humans, it is also said that Yeti provides protection to the humans as well. This belief is one of the most popular ones and hence at the places where it is strongly believed, humans also tend to provide animal sacrifices to the Yeti in order to keep it happy and protect them back.

The Yeti, regardless of being without proof, is a mythical creature that is strongly believed in. There have been instances of the footprints being found by the Indian Army as well, getting us closer to knowing the truth about the existence of the creature.
