Opening The Way For Hindi Blogging

In the anglicised global world, few remain who cherish and contribute to Hindi. Ravindra Prabhat, a journalist, story-writer, and poet uses his talent to articulate in Hindi, weaving words in poems about realistic issues - human suffering and social atrocities.

Raised in the village of Mahindwara, Sitamarhi, which is in Bihar, India, Ravindra Prabhat was welcomed into the world on 30th June 1969. Prabhat is well known as a Hindi writer. He is famous for his novels, and journalistic endeavours. His creativity further expands in the form of poems, and short stories. He has been published and recieved accolades at home, as well as abroad. Prabhat's artistic nuance doesn't stop here; he is also a screenwriter.

His early roots don't go back to the written word. As a young adult, Ravindra did his bachelor's in Geography from B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University. Although his brain was working toward maps of the world, Ravindra knew his heart lay in the world of writing and did his Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University.

He has a gift of a flair for critically thought out and written pages. Thus, his work is famous and translated into different languages and finds itself published in magazines and anthologies. As a poet, he is someone whose heart lies in empathy for human suffering and social problems.

Writing since 1987, Prabhat has covered a plethora of subjects and has served as a chief-editor for Parikalpana Samaya, a Monthly Magazine.

As the world changes, the modes of communication change. As a result, the platform to reach millions change too. Prabhat is well versed with the latter and has stayed relevant by employing digital media for his writing. His blogging career in Hindi started in 2007; he writes and reviews and is even a founding member of the Parikalpana Award, which celebrates literary blog writers.

Ravindra Prabhat is revered by many, and his collection of praise comes in the form of honours and awards such as the Sahitya Sri Award and the Shrijan Sri Award.
